Uttarakhand: Secretary Health makes surprise inspection of COVID center at Doon Medical College

Not to be afraid of COVID-19, we need to defeat it, said Secretary Health Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar while reviewing preparations for management of COVID-19 at Rajkiya Doon Medical College and Hospital on the second day of mock drill conducted by Government of India Hue said. Secretary Health visited the hospital and inspected the oxygen plant, ICU, ventilator, beds etc. He said that there are active patients in the state at present, most of whom are with normal symptoms and home isolated. Few patients are requiring hospitalization. Secretary Health appealed to the general public to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.

The Secretary Health directed all doctors not to neglect the treatment of patients. He said there was no need to panic in the current situation of COVID-1 People with any other serious illness The elderly need to be more vigilant. The Department of Health is ready and prepared to prevent the spread of COVID-1 The Health Department is fully prepared to provide facilities to the general public in any kind of emergency.

Principal/Director Medical Education Rajkiya Doon Medical College Dr Ashutosh Sayana, Dr Ajay Nagarkar, Additional Project Director, Uttarakhand State AIDS Control Committee, Dr Pankaj Kumar, Program Officer, National Health Mission and officials and employees of health department were present during the inspection.
