Bihar: Man returned alive two days after funeral, police shocked, accused of murder upset

In Patna’s Digha, the police is entangled in the mystery of the death of a person. The mutilated dead body, which was cremated two days ago, returned alive. At the same time, the accused of murder are also stunned to see the person alive. At the same time, they are also happy. However, in the midst of all this, the person who returned alive and his family members are under suspicion. In fact, on Sunday, a dead body was found in a mutilated condition in front of gate number 88 of the area. Shortly afterwards, the relatives identified the dead body as that of 65-year-old Devan Rai, a resident of Kurji Bhageda Ashram Gali. On Monday, Devan’s wife submitted a written application accusing former chief Nilesh and his two brothers of killing her husband and throwing the dead body. The police had also registered an FIR for murder against the three.

While the police was busy probing the matter, Devan returned home on Tuesday. As soon as the people around got the information about his return home, everyone was shocked. Former chief Nilesh, his brother and the police of Digha police station, who were made accused in the murder case, also reached the spot. Devan was not coming out of the house. Police and some people broke the gate and pulled him out.

Then when the police started questioning Devan, he told that a person had come to him on Saturday. However, he does not know the name of the person. Then that person made Devan sit with him in the auto and took him to Khagaul. From there he took the train to Kanpur. From there again the same person dropped him at Khagaul station on Tuesday. After that Devan reached Kurji in an auto. After this came back home.

Police looking for answers to many questions

Now the confusion in front of the police is that if Devan is alive, then whose mutilated body belonged to him. Devan’s relatives are also suspicious as they said that Devan was missing since Friday, while he had left home on Saturday. Went to Kanpur with some unknown person and did not even inform his relatives. Police is verifying his statement. Devan’s stature is different, while the body that was recovered had a different appearance. Police is probing all these points.

Police interrogating Devan and his relatives

Digha Thanedar Rajkumar Pandey said that on Monday, Devan’s relatives had registered a case of murder against former chief Nilesh and his two brothers. The matter was being investigated that information was received that Devan is alive and has returned home. Devan and his relatives are being interrogated. The relatives are also being asked on what basis they had identified the dead body. If evidence of any kind of conspiracy is found in the investigation, action can be taken against Devan’s relatives as well.
