In South Korea, the government is giving money every month for the upkeep of the children. For children up to the age of one year, $ 528 (Rs 43,337) per week is given every month. After this, $ 264 (Rs 21,600) is given every month for the child till the age of 2 years. In 2024, the government will increase it. Then $ 755 (Rs 61,968) will be given till the age of one year and $ 377 (Rs 30,943) till the age of 2 years. Additionally, the government will provide $151 (Rs 12,393) per month to low-income families and single parents until the child is of primary school age.
