Uttarakhand: Congress insulting Devbhoomi and Sanatan by comparing illegal shrines with temples – Mahendra Bhatt

The BJP has termed the comments made by former CM Harish Rawat and other Congress leaders on the demolition of illegal shrines as appeasement and anti-Sanatan. Party’s state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the Congress leaders have lost their direction by projecting themselves as secular and doing politics of opposition. He said that those claiming Uttarakhandiyat should also take inspiration from their party’s MLA Madan Bisht. Bhatt has strongly objected to the deliberate remarks made by former CM Harish Rawat and other Congress leaders against illegal religious encroachments. He taunted that in the course of appeasement and well-known love of a particular community, he insulted the land of God and the eternal tradition by comparing illegal religious encroachment with temples.
Challenging all the Congress leaders, including Harda, Bhatt said that if they want to save the illegal tombs, they should come forward openly, but do not try to equate mythological temples with structures built by illegal occupation. Dev will not tolerate the people of the land. He said that those who consider Lord Ram to be imaginary, whose leaders take along those who insult Hindu deities, who want separate educational institutions for a particular religion, who want leave for Friday prayers, from Devbhoomi It is meaningless to expect respect for the spiritual importance and religious-cultural identity of the people. He said that it is well known that these structures built in the memory of dead people, in most of which even their remains were not found, have been built under a conspiracy by illegal encroachment of land. But in the race to please their high command, the people of Congress are not deterring from insulting the mythological temples of Devbhoomi to oppose the action of demolishing illegal religious encroachments.
Hitting out at Harda’s Uttarakhandism, Bhatt said, “He delights in Kafal, Kilmode’s taste and Hisalu’s forks, he also flashes his video of playing Damru in Baba Kedar on social media, connecting with his journey on the roads of Uttarakhand.” They also make them feel pain, but they do not feel the pain of the people of the state due to the statements of their leaders insulting the religious sentiments of the Devbhoomi. It seems that like their leaders, they also do not believe in the presence of gods in every particle of the land and temples in the stones, because in such a situation, no one would see the difference between shrines and temples.
Bhatt said that no matter how much the opposition parties including the Congress try, the Dhami government will completely demolish these encroachments which are a challenge to culture and law and order. He said that the love of Congress towards illegal religious places is being seen by the great people of the state and it will have to bear the brunt of it.
