Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed killed, UP police encounter in Jhansi

In the Umesh Pal Murder Case, absconding mafia Atiq Atiq’s son Asad and his aide Ghulam were killed in an encounter by the UP STF. A reward of five lakh rupees was declared on both. His encounter was done in Jhansi. STF claims that foreign weapons have been recovered from them.

Regarding this encounter, the UP police informed that both Asad’s son Atiq Ahmed and Ghulam’s son Maqsudan were wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case of Prayagraj. Both of them had a reward of five lakh rupees on the accused. Killed in encounter with UP STF team led by DSP Navendu and DSP Vimal in Jhansi. Many foreign weapons have been recovered from both of them.

CM Yogi’s reaction
Responding to this, CM Yogi Adityanath has praised the UP STF. At the same time, Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad has given information about this encounter to the Chief Minister. However, after this encounter, a meeting has been called regarding law and order. A report has been placed in front of the Chief Minister on this whole matter. Significantly, Ashad was absconding after the Umesh Pal murder case.

On the other hand, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said – It is our resolve that we will eliminate goon mafia and criminals from Uttar Pradesh. The incident has just happened, as soon as the full details come, share it. Any such criminal who commits crime will not roam free in the state. Uttar Pradesh is at number one in getting punishment through Uttar Pradesh law. In Uttar Pradesh, no criminal will be able to escape by committing a crime.
