Bihar: Miscreants looted Rs 12 lakh after entering PNB, shot two security guards, one died, CCTV footage surfaced

Miscreants looted Rs 12 lakh from the Punjab National Bank in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon in Sonpur of Saran district. During this, two security guards of the bank were also shot, out of which one died. The other is seriously injured. The injured security personnel has been sent to PMCH for treatment. The incident is near the DRM office of Sonpur police station area. This area is VIP. Fearless robbers have executed the incident at gun point in broad daylight.

The miscreants were five in number
The deceased security guard has been identified as Mahesh Shah. The name of the injured is Naresh Rai. Regarding the incident, it was told that the number of miscreants was five. All had reached by bike. One by one everyone entered inside the bank. After this, as soon as they entered, they started firing inside the bank. Two policemen deployed for opposing the robbery in the bank were shot dead. According to the officers and personnel of the bank, Rs 12 lakh loot is being said. Although the figures may go up or down after matching. The SP of the district has confirmed the loot. The police reached the spot and started investigating the incident. Investigation is being done by taking footage from the CCTV camera installed inside the bank. The faces of many miscreants are visible in the CCTV. While some have covered their faces.
Firing done around five rounds
Pooja Kumari, an employee posted in the bank, told that five miscreants had come with weapons. After coming to his chamber, he carried out the incident of looting. When the policemen present in the bank tried to stop them, the robbers shot them. Firing has been done around five rounds. The miscreants have fled after looting about 12 lakh rupees. After this the police was informed. Police has reached the spot. Investigating.
