Talking to the media persons at the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister reiterated his resolve for the campaign launched against illegal religious places on the state’s forest, revenue and government land. He said that this action is being taken to save religion and culture in the interest of the state. He called upon the people of the state that they should participate in this campaign of the government. Said that the public should come forward and say that the government’s action is in the right direction.

State BJP supported Chief Minister Dhami’s campaign against the encroachment of religious places on state government land. The party said that the action on illegal tombs is correct and the BJP is with the Chief Minister. Party’s state spokesperson Vikas Bhagat said that the action being taken against illegal religious encroachment will create a better tomorrow for Uttarakhand.
For the last few years, tombs are suddenly appearing in forests, roadside and government land, it is necessary to remove them. Said that in the investigation it was found that no human remains were found under these mausoleums built by encroachment on the government land. It shows that such tombs have been built under some conspiracy. He said that it is an insult to the land of God to compare the tombs with the temples of the leaders.
