Uttarakhand: BJP celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with pomp, told Baba Saheb’s indelible contribution in establishing constitutional democracy

The BJP celebrated the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar across the state with pomp and gaiety up to the booth level. Seminars were organized at mandal and district level in which state office bearers participated at different centers

In the tribute meeting organized at the BJP state office, the speakers threw light on the life of Baba Saheb and expressed gratitude on behalf of the country and the society towards his contribution. While presiding over the program, State Vice President Mukesh Koli said that the contribution of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb in building and establishing the constitutional democracy in which the country is touching new heights of development in the free air is immeasurable. Despite the adverse circumstances, he spent his whole life to establish equality in the society. The then governments tried for decades to prove their contribution less. But it was BJP’s government of late Atal Vihari Vajpayee ji who honored him with Bharat Ratna and gave him an opportunity to express his gratitude to the nation. He said, even today, under the leadership of PM Modi, the government is engaged in preserving the places associated with the life and works of Baba Saheb and giving them grandeur so that the coming generations continue to take inspiration from his life.

While conducting the meeting, state office in-charge Kaustubhanand Joshi said that by imbibing the principles of Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar, BJP is working in the direction of eradicating evils not only politically but also socially. The basic mantra given by Modi ji is everyone’s support, everyone’s faith and everyone’s effort is also inspired by this. On this occasion, senior BJP leader Subhash Barthwal paid tribute by reciting poetry on the life of Babasaheb. Party officials and senior BJP workers present in the program paid their respects by offering flowers on Baba Saheb’s photograph. On this occasion, Rajpur MLA Khajan Das, State Treasurer Puneet Mittal, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama State Media Incharge Manveer Singh Chauhan, State Spokesperson Virendra Bisht, Naveen Thakur, Mrs. Madhu Bhatt, Mrs. Sunita Vidyarti, State Co-Media Incharge Manik Nidhi Sharma and Rajendra Singh Negi, Ravindra Kataria, Ajit Negi, Karun Dutta were prominently present.
