Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in the program organized on Ambedkar Jayanti in Champawat, honored Narayani Devi
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Narsingh Danda in Champawat. He paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 132nd birth anniversary by offering flowers to his portrait. While addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister said that Ambedkar ji did the work of bringing the deprived sections of the society into the mainstream. Raised a strong voice in the country regarding the caste system and the social ill effects arising out of it. The countrymen will always be grateful to Dr. Ambedkar for his contribution in the making of the Indian Constitution. Baba Saheb also played an important role in preparing the foundation of modern India. He also did many great works for the country and society in the social, legal and political fields. He worked for the upliftment of every class.
The Chief Minister said that today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done keeping in mind every section of the society. Whether it is Jan Dhan Yojana, Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi or the work of giving ration to 80 crore people is being done today under the leadership of Modi ji. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi said from the land of Baba Kedar that the third decade of 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand, the state government is working fast in this direction. Last year, there was a rapid increase in the number of devotees in Chardham Yatra and Kavad Yatra. More devotees are expected to visit Chardham this year. Under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, the work of beautifying all the temples of Kumaon Mandal and connecting them by developing infrastructure facilities is being done in the form of a circuit. The state of Uttarakhand will be such a state in the country which will be ahead in every field. The model of Uttarakhand will become a model for the whole of India.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored Narayani Devi, who gave employment to 40 women in the Lohaghat Growth Center, for her commendable work and inspired others to work in the same way.
The Chief Minister made various announcements for the development of the area on the occasion. He said that the District Library Champawat would be further expanded, the decoration work would also be done. Government Higher Secondary School Narsingh Danda will be upgraded to Intermediate. Primary Health Center will be constructed at Narsingh Danda. Lift drinking water scheme will be constructed in Narsingh Danda. Ambedkar Bhawan will be constructed in Narsingh Danda. The process of providing ownership rights to the families living on Narsingh Danda’s land will be taken forward. Beautification work of Siddha Narasimha Temple Kalu Khan will be done.
