Uttarakhand: Former President Kovind reached Doon on a three-day tour, garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar
Former President of the country Ramnath Kovind reached Uttarakhand today on a three-day visit. First of all, he honored Bharat Ratna Dr. in Gadhi Cantt, Dehradun. Wreathed the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar. During this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present with him. Let us tell you that the former President has a special attachment to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Gadhikant. While being the President in December 2021, he visited Uttarakhand. Then during his return to Delhi, he talked about the smallness of this statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar installed in Garhi Cantt with his help. Taking this matter seriously, Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmeet Singh (Seni) requested the CEO Cantt Board for immediate restoration of the statue.
The Chairman Cantt Board and CEO Cantt Board have enlarged the size of the statue as well as renovated it and given it a better look. After this, the Governor had shown the new form of this statue to the former President during his visit to Delhi.
Will be included in the program of LBS Academy
After this, on April 15 and 16, he will participate in the programs of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie Road. The former President will stay at the Raj Bhavan during the visit. A state banquet has been organized in his honour.
