Uttarakhand: Politics intensified on illegal tombs, Harish Rawat wrote – Remove illegal encroachments inside the reserved forest area and keep the details of illegal places in front of the people of the state

Politics is raging on the illegal tombs made by encroachment on the government land of Uttarakhand. While the Dhami government has talked about strict action in this matter. After the heated politics on the issue of illegal tombs and land jihad in the state, the opposition is constantly besieging the government. In this episode, senior Congress leader and former CM Harish Rawat has again targeted the Dhami government. Along with this, he has instructed not to do politics on this issue.

Harish Rawat wrote on his social media handle that ‘My advice is to remove illegal encroachments inside the reserved forest area. But don’t make it a political issue and keep a detail of those places which you consider illegal in front of the people of the state, with the introduction of modern civilization in this land, some Dhunias and some caves have been converted into the austerities of saints. I am still a worshiped caste, only a lunatic would call them illegal occupation. Even during the freedom struggle, there were many such places of worship, which the British wanted to remove!

I am the only ex-CM who is in Congress

Harish Rawat further writes that ‘the removal of places of worship established in the forests was also a major reason for the fight against the British in Kumaon and Garhwal around the decade of 1920s. For the last few days, BJP leaders have been making statements in such a way that illegal tombs have been erected by a particular party! Which is totally wrong. After the formation of this state, I am the only former Chief Minister who is in the Congress. But my colleagues are ministers, we want to know how many such tombs have been built after the year 2000 or have other places of worship been built? You should not hesitate to give year-wise details of those in the reserved forest area which you are calling illegal and in which places!’

Many BJP MLAs are making such voter cards in their respective areas who are also voters in our neighboring states.

But the entire BJP leadership from top to bottom told a lie, won the election by propagating such a lie.
