Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haridwar late in the evening. Where he first went to Jagadguru Ashram to seek blessings from his Guru Swami Rajarajeshwaranand. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told about the preparations for Chardham Yatra. He said that all the preparations for the Chardham Yatra have been completed by the government. At the same time, regarding the increasing cases of COVID-19, he appealed to all the devotees to follow the Corona guidelines. He said that the limited number of devotees in Chardham Yatra will be reconsidered once again. So that more and more devotees can visit Chardham.
CM Dhami said that the government is reconsidering the guidelines related to Chardham Yatra. So that the devotees who reach Chardham Yatra do not face any problem. Along with this, the livelihood of the tourism businessmen associated with the Chardham Yatra should not be affected. 13 lakh pilgrims have registered themselves for the yatra so far. The government has said earlier also that all the passengers coming to Uttarakhand will be taken on Chardham Yatra.
The CM, who reached Haridwar tour, met Shankaracharya Rajarajeshwaranand Ashram at Jagadguru Ashram in Kankhal and took his blessings. After the meeting, the CM said that Haridwar is a religious city. On reaching here, they get guidance from everyone. This makes them easy to work with.
