Kejriwal got the support of Nitish-Sibal, Kharge spoke to Kejriwal on the phone on opposition unity

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge spoke to Arvind Kejriwal over phone on Saturday. In the conversation, Kharge stressed the need for opposition parties to unite against the BJP from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Sources say the Congress president showed the party’s solidarity with Kejriwal on the issue of appearing before the CBI on Sunday in the excise policy case. Kharge’s call to Kejriwal is believed to be part of the Congress’ campaign to unite opposition parties against the BJP. The Congress president will host a meeting of senior leaders of various parties over the next few days to chalk out a common programme. Kharge has held talks with leaders of several opposition parties regarding opposition unity.
Kejriwal got the support of Nitish-Sibal
After the summons, Kejriwal has got the support of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and independent Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal. Nitish Kumar said, Kejriwal will respond to all the action initiated against him at an appropriate time. The public knows that Kejriwal has done many development works in his state. Nitish met Kejriwal in Delhi on Wednesday as part of opposition solidarity. Kapil Sibal said, the ruling party wants to create an opposition-free India and is trying to tarnish the image of leaders who stand against it. The Center targeted chief ministers of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Kerala and other leaders.
Demand to register a case against Rahul
Describing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s controversial statement in London as a crime against the country, a lawyer has demanded registration of a sedition case against him. The lawyer has lodged a complaint regarding this at the Sabzi Mandi police station on April 12. Advocate Ravinder Gupta has said in his complaint that the controversial statement made by Rahul Gandhi on February 28 on foreign soil has hurt him as well as the people of the country. His statement is a heinous crime against the elected government of the country.
