According to reports, on April 16, a Nexon EV suddenly caught fire in Pune and the people sitting in the car barely escaped with their lives. A video of the incident has also been uploaded on Instagram, in which it can be seen that the bonnet of the Nexon EV is open and the people present on the spot are extinguishing the fire. It is being told that this incident happened in front of Reliance Mart, Katraj Chowk in Pune. According to the information given on the official vehicle portal, the vehicle that caught fire is the Nexon EV XZ+ model and this vehicle is registered in Pune, which was bought only in the month of July last year.

After this incident of fire in Tata Motors Nexon EV, the company has now issued a statement, saying that, a team of technical experts has investigated the incident of fire in Nexon EV, which found that it All the passengers are safe in this arson which took place on April 16, 2023 in Pune, Katraj. The company said in its statement, “Investigation has found that the vehicle was recently repaired, in which the left headlamp was replaced at an unauthorized workshop. Due to deficiencies in the process, the fire broke out due to electrical malfunction in the headlamp area.
“The company further added that, we are constantly engaged with the customer to provide all the assistance required. Our appeal to all the customers is that – The automotive market is constantly evolving with new technologies, both in conventional Petrol-Diesel (ICE) cars and electric vehicle segments. and is evolving with modern electronic parts, which require trained and skilled workmanship.
