Uttar Pradesh: CM Yogi’s first statement after the murder of Atiq-Ashraf
CM Yogi Adityanath said in a program organized in Lucknow on Tuesday that now no mafia can threaten anyone in UP. He said that earlier people were afraid of the name of some districts. Now the rule of law has been established. Riots don’t happen here anymore. This was CM Yogi’s first speech at a public event after the sensational murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed in Prayagraj. He was speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the signing of an MoU between the Center and the UP government for a mega textile park to be built on one thousand acres between Lucknow and Hardoi. Union Textiles, Industries, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal was also present in the programme.

The CM said that now no professional criminal or mafia can threaten an entrepreneur over the phone. Before 2017, the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh was bad and the state was infamous for riots. Many districts were such that people were afraid of their name, today people do not need to be afraid of the name of the district. Those who were earlier a crisis for the identity of the state, today the state is becoming a crisis for them.
The CM said that Uttar Pradesh guarantees you the best law and order today, but the other two stigmas were that from where you enter UP, from where you see potholes in the roads, understand that the border of UP has come, but today Uttar Pradesh We have connected the inter state connectivity with four lanes.
Piyush Goyal also praised
On this occasion, Union Minister Piyush Goyal also praised the law and order situation in UP. He said that before 2017, people in UP used to see discrimination regarding development. By taking a historic decision, the public formed a double engine government. Atal ji recognized the whole world as the brand ambassador of Lucknow. PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath ji historically changed the picture and character of UP.
He said that the work of Dedicated Freight Corridor would be completed soon. The beautiful expressways here can be the envy of any country. He informed that 18 states had given proposals for textile parks. 7 got approved. He said that soon the foundation stone of Lucknow Textile Park will be laid by PM Modi. We have taken assurance from the Chief Minister that Lucknow Textile Park will be ready first among the seven textile parks in the country.
