Uttarakhand: CM Dhami’s meeting with opposition MLAs, MLAs praised Dhami, Dhami gave strict warning to officials
After the review meeting of the MLAs of the ruling party, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting with the MLAs of the opposition party at the Secretariat on Thursday. MLAs from Yamunotri, Badrinath, Pratapnagar, Chakrata, Jwalapur, Bhagwanpur, Jhabreda, Piran Kaliyar, Mangalore, Laksar, Khanpur and Haridwar rural constituencies were present in the meeting. During the meeting, mainly 10 works related to their constituencies were asked from the MLAs, which were discussed.
After the meeting of opposition MLAs concluded, Congress MLA Pritam Singh said that during the meeting, the CM inquired about the status of the development works of the assemblies of the opposition MLAs. Along with this, the MLAs also apprised the CM about the problems of their assembly. Not only this, the MLAs had also sent a letter regarding 10 major demands of their respective assemblies, that too was discussed. In such a situation, now the legislators are waiting for what decision the government takes on this.
BSP MLA from Laksar Mohammad Shahzad thanked CM Dhami and said that CM Dhami has made a good beginning. In such a situation, it is expected that the whole of Uttarakhand will be developed. Also said that no issue of displeasure was raised in the meeting, so all the points were discussed in a better way. In such a situation, it is expected that a good conclusion will come out of it.
The minister demanding ACR should resign: Former Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh said that this issue has also been raised in the CM’s meeting that the officials should listen to the people’s representatives. Get rid of their works, but the present situation is that there is no coordination between the government and the officials. Not only this, the minister is constantly talking about writing the ACR of the officers. Which shows that there is no coordination between the government and the officials. He said that if the minister says that the officer is not listening to him and therefore gets the right to write ACR, then such minister should be removed from the cabinet with immediate effect.
