Uttarakhand: Yatra team vehicles leave, CM shows green signal, registration crosses 16 lakhs

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday flagged off the vehicles of the team of service members of Kedarnath Dham. Bhandara will be organized by these sevadars on Shri Kedarnath Yatra Marg in the name of Chief Sevak of Uttarakhand for the devotees from 21st to 25th April. Bhandara will be organized for the devotees at the yatra halts of Baba Kedar’s doli from Guptkashi till it reaches Kedarnath. Flowers will also be showered by helicopter on 24 and 25 April. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all preparations have been made for the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand for the convenience of the devotees. Regular review of Char Dham Yatra is being done.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people towards Chardham Yatra. So far more than 16 lakh registrations have been done. Full cooperation is being received from voluntary organizations and social organizations. He said that every possible facility will be given to all the devotees coming to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Colonel Ajay Kothiyal (Retd) was also present on the occasion.
