A new coin of 100 rupees will be issued on completion of 100 episodes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, know when the new coin was released?
A coin will be issued on completion of 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. This coin will be of 100 rupees on which ‘Mann Ki Baat 100’ will be written. The microphone will be made on the coin and 2023 will be marked on it. This 100th episode will be aired on the last Sunday of this month, i.e. on 30 April.
How will the coin be?
The notification issued by the government said, “On the occasion of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, a coin of only one hundred rupees will be minted in the mint for issue under the central authority.” The roundness of the coin will be 44 millimeters, which is four. There will be a mixture of metals – silver, copper, nickel and zinc. The lion of the Ashoka Pillar will be in the center of the obverse of the coin, below which will be written Satyamev Jayate. Apart from this, INDIA will be written on the side in India and in English. Under the head there will be ₹ sign and 100 will be marked.
On the other side of the coin, there will be a symbol of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, which will have a picture of a microphone with sound waves. ‘2023’ will be marked on the picture of the microphone. Above and below the picture of the microphone, ‘Mann Ki Baat 100’ in Hindi and ‘MANN KI BAAT 100’ in English will be written respectively. And the total weight of the coin will be 35 grams.
100 coin issued every now and then
- In the memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a coin of 100 rupees for four years.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative coin of Rs 100 on the occasion of the birth centenary of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia.
- A coin of Rs 100 was issued on the centenary year of MG Ramachandran, the founder of AIADMK.
- Apart from this, a coin of 100 rupees was also issued on the 476th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap.
- Earlier in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015 also coins of 100 rupees were issued.
Preparation of BJP
Let us tell you that on April 30, the 100th episode of PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program will be aired, for which the BJP has made special preparations. BJP has planned to broadcast it at more than one lakh booths so that it can reach every household.
