Uttarakhand / Rishikesh: Case will be filed against PWD Executive Engineer! DM gave orders, Tahrir given in Ranipokhari

On the instructions of DM Sonika, SDM Rishikesh has asked to file a case against Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Dhirendra Kumar by sending Tahrir to Ranipokhari police station as soon as possible. The DM has taken this tough step after seeing negligence in the road construction and improvement works going on from Jollygrant to Rishikesh.

According to DM Sonika, these days the Public Works Department is doing the work of road construction and liberalization between Jollygrant and Rishikesh. In which negligence has been seen many times. In this regard, the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department, Dhirendra Kumar was also directed several times to rectify the negligence, yet the officials of the Public Works Department were not seen rectifying their negligence. The road has been dug up from JCB at many places. Due to which the common man is facing difficulty in running the vehicles.

The DM told that SDM Rishikesh has been directed to file a case in this regard against Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Dhirendra Kumar for negligence in the police station. The SDM said that in compliance to the instructions, the Ranipokhari police station has been asked to take action against the executive engineer by giving a complaint. Ranipokhari Police Station President said that Tahrir police has received against Executive Engineer Dhirendra Kumar for negligence in the work of road construction and improvement. The police has started its investigation in the matter. A case will be registered after investigation. In this case, PWD Executive Engineer Dhirendra Kumar told that there has been no negligence in the work, all the work has been done by him.
