Eid celebrations across the country, people hugging and congratulating, President and PM also said Eid Mubarak

The fervor of Eid is being seen across the country. People of all Muslim community are congratulating each other by hugging. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi have also congratulated the countrymen for Eid-ul-Fitr.
President Murmu congratulated Eid
President Murmu has congratulated all the citizens on Eid-ul-Fitr. In his tweet, he has asked everyone to take a pledge to promote brotherhood. President Murmu said that on Eid-ul-Fitr, I congratulate all the countrymen, especially the Muslim brothers and sisters. Eid, the festival of love and compassion, gives us the message of helping others. Come, on this auspicious occasion of celebration, let us all take a pledge to move forward on the path of increasing brotherhood and mutual harmony in the society.

PM Modi congratulated

Guard of Change ceremony will not be organized
There will be no change of guard ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on April 22 due to Eid. This is a military tradition, which is held every week at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The change of guard ceremony will not be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan this Saturday due to the gazetted holiday on account of Eid, the President’s Office said.
