Bihar: Timing of schools changed in Patna, DM issued new order
The mood of the weather has changed in the capital Patna. People have got relief from the scorching heat due to strong thunderstorms and rains. In view of the improvement in the current weather, the timings of all private and government schools in Patna have been changed again.
Now from May 01, all the schools will remain open only till 11.30 am. All the children will be discharged by 11:30. Earlier, the order was issued to open the school only till 10.45 am. Now the school will run till 11:30 instead of 10:45.
It is noteworthy that in view of the scorching heat and heat stroke in Bihar, the timing of schools in Patna was changed. As per the order of Patna DM Chandrashekhar, the timing of studies in schools was changed from April 15. Classes were being held in schools only till 11:45 am. This order was issued keeping the heat in mind. Classes were stopped in schools after 11.45.
After which the temperature increased significantly in many districts including Patna. In view of the scorching heat and heat stroke due to temperature above 43 degree Celsius in Patna, the Patna district administration has once again issued an order to change the timing of schools. It was said in the order that now all the schools in Patna will remain open till 10:45 am only. But now the weather has improved. In view of this, all the schools have been ordered to open by 11.30 am instead of 10.45 am. This order will come into effect from May 1.
