Maharashtra / Mumbai: Fake telephone exchange was running in the building, ATS raided, then the person jumped from the 5th floor in fear of the police, died

Maharashtra ATS has busted a fake telephone exchange in Bhiwandi area. During this, many people have been detained. To escape from the ATS, one of the accused jumped from the roof of the building, due to which he died. Police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Police seized the goods from the spot and started investigation.

According to the information, Mumbai ATS had received information that a fake telephone exchange was running on the fifth floor of a building located at Gauri Pada in Bhiwandi’s Bhoiwada Police Station area. After information, ATS raided late evening.

During this, the operator of the illegal telephone exchange jumped from the fifth floor to avoid the arrest of the ATS as soon as the raid of the ATS was heard. Before jumping, he had thrown all the belongings in the adjacent compound.

The person who jumped from the building could not be identified

The unknown person who jumped from the building died on the spot. After getting the information about this matter, the Bhoiwada police took the dead body into custody and conducted a panchnama and sent it to IGM Hospital for postmortem. The police is busy in identifying the deceased. Currently ATS is probing the matter.

Police is looking for the owner of the flat

The police is searching for the owner of the flat in the building in which this illegal telephone exchange was being run, but till now the police have not come to know about him. The police seized the SIM box and other items belonging to the illegal telephone exchange. Bhiwandi police is engaged in the investigation of this matter.
