The Noida Commissionerate Police has exposed a gang which printed fake notes and used them in the market after watching a web series in Noida. Kotwali Sector-63 police has arrested three accused including the female mastermind. Fake notes worth about Rs 57,000 have been recovered from them. These people have so far spent more than Rs 50,000 fake notes in the market. Police is finding out about other accused of this gang.
The Kotwali Sector-63 police team on Saturday nabbed three accused of smuggling fake currency near Bahalolpur. The mastermind of this gang is a young woman. The arrested accused have been identified as Bahalolpur residents Komal Yadav, Shargun and Dheeraj. All these accused were printing 100 and 200 rupee notes on A4 size paper and spending them through children in the crowded places of the city. The accused started the business of printing fake notes after watching a web series that came a few days back.
Police have seized five mobiles, paper, ink, printer, fevicol, scooty etc. along with fake notes of Rs 100 worth Rs 54100 and fake Rs 200 notes worth Rs 21400 from the accused. DCP Central Noida Rambadan Singh said that the police had received information about printing fake notes. Since then the police team was active. After this, the police arrested all the three accused from Bahalolpur. These accused were printing fake notes in the city for the last one month. The police is looking for other accused of this gang.
MBA pass Komal is the mastermind
Komal Yadav, arrested in the case of printing fake notes, is MBA and is the master mind of this gang. After completing his MBA, he started teaching tuition. Later, in order to get rich quickly, he started the business of fake notes. Komal watched the recent web series Farzi with her co-stars Shargun and Dheeraj. After this, work was started to start the business of making fake notes.
Learned to make fake notes from youtube
DCP Rambadan Singh says that after watching the web series, these accused planned to print fake notes. For this, these people took information about making fake notes on YouTube. Purchased necessary paper, ink and software, printer etc. after watching YouTube. After this, the accused started printing fake notes at home. These people were printing only fake notes of 100 and 200 rupees. There was a plan to print a note of five hundred rupees gradually. Even before this, these accused were caught.
Using children to sell fake currency
During police interrogation, the accused told that after printing fake currency, they used children to consume it. Used to give fake notes to small children around. Those who used to go to juice carts, fruit shops, vegetable shops in markets and crowded places and used to take goods for 20 to 30 rupees. After which they used to take back the remaining money from the children. Children used to get juices and fruits. Sometimes he used to give some money to the children. Especially children were sent to the shops with fake notes in the evening or at night.
