Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Apologized to the family and then the student hanged

The case pertains to Bidholi of Prem Nagar police station area. According to the police, Gaurav Goyal’s son Bijli Goyal, a resident of Jaipur Rajasthan, was studying digital designing at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, staying here on rent. On Saturday, Gaurav hanged himself by tying a telephone wire to the angle of a skylight in a rented house. Police reached the spot on information. Ambulance personnel declared Gaurav dead.

Police said that a video has also been found in Gaurav’s mobile. In this he has apologized to his family members. Initial investigation revealed that Gaurav had failed last year. Because of this he was not going to college. Whereas, he had told the relatives about his passing. The family members were continuously sending him money as well. SO Premnagar PD Bhatt told that the video found from the student’s mobile is being investigated. Other reasons are also being investigated.

Sent video to friends with timer

It is being told that this video is of about four minutes. Gaurav was afraid of his lie being exposed. Gaurav had sent this video to his friends by setting a timer, so that this video reached his friends only after his death.
