This project will cost about 30 crores. This amount will be raised with the help of Baluni MP’s Fund and other organizations. As its first installment, they have released an initial amount of 4.62 crores. According to Baluni, with the construction of museum and planetarium, Pauri will be recognized at the national level and it will become a favorite tourist destination. Baluni said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also shown enthusiasm in this matter. He assured that all possible cooperation would be extended from the state government. Whatever requirement will be fulfilled by the state government for educational, informative and interesting activities in this campus.
He said that this would be the first center of the state and also unique at all India level, where efforts would be made to introduce astronomy and geography, history and culture at one place.
Pauri Nagar has its own unique geographical structure, in front of which a long mountain range and a distinct panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks are visible. This makes Pauri Nagar an ideal site for joint construction of planetarium and mountain museum. In the future, it will become a favorite destination for astronomy enthusiasts from all over the country and abroad.
Both institutes will be popular among students
Baluni said that both these institutes would be popular among the students in future. They will get solutions to their many curiosities and questions during the educational tour here. Along with this, tourism activities will also increase in Pauri Nagar. Efforts will be made to link this center with other educational activities to develop it as a tourist destination. Guest house, biodiversity, knowledge park and science park will also be developed in this multipurpose institute.
