Madhya Pradesh: Union Minister Prahlad Patel’s nephew Monu Patel passed away
Mani Nagendra alias Monu Patel (32), son of BJP MLA Jalam Singh Patel from Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh and nephew of Union Minister Prahlad Patel, died on Sunday. His death has been confirmed from brain hemorrhage.
It is being told that at around 1 pm Monu had gone to his room at Gotegaon in Narsinghpur. After that, when his room did not open till 6 in the evening, the relatives went and saw. Monu was found lying upside down on the bed. The relatives took him to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. A crowd of supporters has gathered at the government hospital in Gotegaon.
Recently acquitted in criminal case from special court
A few days ago, BJP MLA from Narsinghpur Jalam Singh Patel and his son Monu Patel got a big relief from the special court of Jabalpur. Both were accused in the case of attempt to murder. The court had acquitted both father and son. The case dates back to November 2014, when a man from Gotegaon had accused the MLA, his son and guard of assault and attempt to murder.
