Paytm QR code in Kedarnath temple, temple committee said – we did not install it

Big game has come to the fore after the talk of donating through Paytm QR code in Kedarnath temple. The temple committee says that the QR codes for digital donations at various places in Kedarnath and Badrinath temples have not been installed by Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC). Now the matter has reached the police. Whose complaint has been lodged.

The matter went viral on social media
When the portals of Kedarnath opened on April 25, the issue of making digital donations through Paytm for donations to the temple went viral on social media. Initially there was discussion about this on many social media platforms. But now in a week, a clarification has come from the temple committee on this.

BKTC chairman issued statement
BKTC President Ajendra Ajay has issued a statement saying that the QR codes for digital donations at various places in Kedarnath and Badrinath temples have not been installed by Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC). A complaint has been made to the police. The temple committee is not taking digital donations through Paytm.

Who installed Paytm scanner and when
Now in such a situation the question is arising as to who installed the Paytm scanner in the temple and when. Along with this, in whose account has the donation money so far gone? This is now a matter of investigation. But the great negligence of the temple committee has also come to the fore in this whole matter. A Paytm scanner was installed in the temple and the temple committee was not even aware of it.

Where did the donation go
Paytm’s scanner is easily visible in all the pictures of Kedarnath that are going viral. Now the temple committee has got them removed. Due to which the big question is arising that where is this donation going and who has planted it. In the matter, the committee has given Tahrir to the police on Sunday and demanded its investigation.

A post in the name of Paytm also went viral
A post in the name of Paytm is also going viral on social media. In which it is being claimed that the Kedarnath temple is the most remote pilgrimage place of the Char Dham Yatra, as soon as the doors were opened, a QR code was placed outside the temple premises asking to donate money digitally. Said devotees visiting the temple can simply scan the Paytm QR code and pay through Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI Lite, Paytm Postpaid and Paytm UPI, apart from other payment methods. But after the statement and tahrir of the temple committee, a new twist has come to the fore.
