The police of Mundapande police station have arrested the accused of cow slaughter worth fifteen thousand. During the encounter about two months ago, the accused had escaped by dodging the police. The police produced the accused in the court, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody.

Moondhapande police station in-charge RP Singh said that information was received on Sunday that a suspicious person was present in the mango orchard located in Sirskheda. When the police team laid siege and tried to nab him, the accused opened fire with a pistol. In which the policeman narrowly escaped. After this the police caught him.

On interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Mustakim. He is a resident of Sirskheda village of Mundapande. Even two months ago, the accused had escaped while firing on the police team. A reward of Rs 15,000 was declared on him by the police.
