Bihar Police had declared him dead 6 months ago, now the ‘dead’ man wrote a letter to the CM and DGP, saying – ‘I am still alive, living with my wife’

A shocking case has come to the fore in Bihar. Bihar Police had declared a person dead six months ago, but now the same person has written a letter to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the DGP and Deoria Police Station. In the letter, the man wrote, ‘He is alive and living with his wife in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The ‘dead’ person who wrote the letter to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been identified as Sonu Kumar Srivastava. According to Bihar Police records, the 30-year-old youth had gone missing from Deoria village about 6 months ago.

Sonu’s relatives had lodged the report

According to the complaint filed by Sonu’s family with the police, ‘Sonu had gone to buy some goods in Patna, but did not return home. Two days later, the police recovered the body of a person from Deoria area and called the family for identification. As per IANS report, Sonu Kumar Srivastava’s father and family members had identified his body. Along with this, a case of murder was registered after the kidnapping in the police. Sonu Srivastava has claimed in his letter that he was carrying Rs 50,000 from Patna to buy some goods. Meanwhile, he boarded a bus.

Deoria police station SHO said-

SHO of Deoria police station Uday Kumar Singh said that Sonu’s father had lodged a complaint regarding his son’s disappearance, after which the police registered a case and started investigation. The SHO said that two days later a body was found in the area and the family was asked to identify the body. Police said Sonu Srivastava’s family had identified the body as that of their son. After getting off the bus, he walked for a few meters and then disappeared, Deoria SHO Uday Kumar Singh was quoted as saying by IANS. We had received a missing complaint from her father. On the basis of whose last phone call, his search was started, but he was not found. A few days later, a throat slit body surfaced on social media. Whom the family members of Srivastava recognized him as their son. After that, he filed a report regarding the murder after kidnapping.

Sonu sent proof of his marriage

The man claimed in his letter that he was in love with a village girl. He ran away with her. After which they both started living in Ghaziabad. Sonu has also sent the proof of his marriage to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the police along with the letter. Police officer Uday Kumar Singh said that after receiving the letter, we have informed his family about this.
