Uttar Pradesh / Shahjahanpur: Sister-in-law fell in love with brother-in-law, killed her husband by feeding him poisoned bread, preparations were being made for the funeral, but the police arrested

Wife Soni and her lover brother-in-law Shyampal, accused of murdering Anuj, resident of Mohalla Bagiya of Alhaganj police station area of Shahjahanpur, told the whole story in front of the police during interrogation. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law confessed that they killed Anuj for being an obstacle in illegal relations. Describing her husband as a thorn in the path of love, Soni had planned the murder along with her brother-in-law. Anuj was murdered in a planned manner on Wednesday night. He was beaten to death by hitting with bricks and sticks after making him unconscious by feeding him breads made of flour by rat. To give the appearance of an accident, Soni went to Anuj’s father Shiv Bahadur’s house and informed.

Preparations were made for his funeral. When the police reached the spot, they were interrogated. Seeing the difference in the statements of Soni and Shyamapal and the situation of the spot, the police acted strictly, both of them accepted the murder. According to the police, Soni was married to Anuj alias Anoj 15 years ago. They also have a ten year old son Raghav. Anuj used to fight every day after drinking alcohol. Soni used to share everything with brother-in-law Shyamapal. Meanwhile, there was a love affair between the two. When Anuj came to know, he banned Shyamapal from coming home.

When Anuj went to Delhi for four months, the way for Shyamapal was cleared. Shyampal told the police that being disturbed by the daily fighting, sister-in-law Soni talked about removing her husband as a thorn between the two. When Anuj returned from Delhi, both of them planned to kill him. Shyamapal hid in the room when Anuj came home on Wednesday night. When Anuj fell unconscious, Shyamapal came out and killed him along with Soni. The police have sent both of them to jail.
