UCC will be implemented soon in Uttarakhand, UCC expert committee will hold meeting with commissions and representatives of political parties on May 24 and 25
A meeting of the expert committee constituted for the examination and implementation of the Uniform Civil Code will be held in Dehradun on 24 and 25 May 2023 with representatives of various commissions and political parties of the state. The committee will also be aware of the views and intentions of the people through public dialogue.
In this regard, according to the information given by the Additional Secretary Uniform Civil Code Expert Committee Pratap Singh Shah, experts constituted for examining and implementing the Uniform Civil Code, examining all the relevant matters governing the personal affairs of all the citizens living in the state of Uttarakhand. The committee will hold a meeting on May 24 from 11.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the Auditorium, State Guest House, Annexe Bhawan, Dehradun, located at the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Office, and from 3:00 p.m. IRDT Auditorium Service A public dialogue program will be organized at Chowk Dehradun.
A meeting/discussion will be held with the representatives of political parties of Uttarakhand state by the expert committee on May 25, 2023 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm in the auditorium, Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Office, State Guest House, Annexe Bhavan, Dehradun.
