400 coins of the Mughal period have been found during the foundation being dug for the boundary wall of Bhumiya Kheda in Hussainpur village of Nanauta area in Saharanpur. These coins are of silver. These coins are said to be more than three hundred years old and the value of each coin has been estimated at three thousand. The police have taken this place under their surveillance. Police said on Monday that around 400 coins of the Mughal period were found during the construction work of a temple in Nanauta area here. The police have taken the site under their surveillance.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said some laborers found the coins on Sunday night while digging earth to build a boundary wall at Sati Dham temple in Hussainpur village here. After getting information about the discovery, the police reached the spot and seized the coins. Got it.

Jain said that coins with inscriptions in Arabic were used during the Mughal period. The SP said that the Archaeological Department will examine the coins and confirm the metal used in making them.
