Uttarakhand: All-party strike against anti-people policies of the government, many stalwarts were present

An all-party protest program was organized at Gandhi Park from 10 am to 12 noon on Tuesday against the anti-people policies of the BJP government. In which leaders of major political parties of the state including the Congress party participated. Congress State President Karan Mahara, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, former State President Ganesh Godial and representatives of Left parties sat on dharna. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that the security of women during the tenure of the BJP government is very weak. Unemployment is increasing.

Central and state governments have failed to check inflation. Former cabinet ministers Heera Singh Bisht, Suryakant Dhasmana etc. were also present at the protest site. After the dharna programme, in the presence of State Congress President Shekaran Mahara at two o’clock in the afternoon, prominent doctors will take membership of the Congress party in the membership program organized at the State Congress Committee office at Rajpur Road.
