There was a stir in Ramnagar of Nainital district when snake babies started coming out of SBI ATM instead of money. Due to the snake coming out of the ATM, there was panic in the line of people engaged to withdraw money and people started running away.
Stampede on the spot due to snake coming out
Last evening, there was a stir on the information of a snake coming out of the ATM of the main branch of State Bank of India located on Kosi Road in Ramnagar. Naresh Dalakoti, the security guard posted at the ATM, told that some people had come to withdraw money from the ATM in the evening. As soon as a person inserted his ATM card in the machine, a snake appeared at the bottom of the machine. After which the person came out of the ATM in panic and informed the guard about it. After getting the information, there was a stampede on the spot.
Bank closed ATM for some time
After which there was a stir among the officers and employees present inside the State Bank branch. On receiving the information, Chandrasen Kashyap, president of Save the Snake and Welfare Society and snake expert, reached the spot and when he started investigating inside the ATM, snake babies started being found inside the ATM. Where ten snake babies came out one after the other, which were rescued and released safely into the forest. Chandrasen Kashyap said that the children of snakes caught are very poisonous, which have been rescued. At the same time, after getting a snake from the ATM, the bank officials closed the ATM for some time and locked it in view of any untoward incident.
