UCC will be implemented soon in Uttarakhand! The committee took opinion on UCC law in the capital, officials of CONG and AAP did not reach

The work of drafting the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand has almost been completed. According to CM Dhami, the committee constituted to implement the Uniform Civil Code will prepare the draft by June 30. After that the Uniform Civil Code will be moved in the direction of implementation. At the same time, the committee is also preparing to hand over the draft to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami by June 30. Before finalizing the draft of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), a five-member expert committee headed by Justice Ranjana Desai took suggestions from various sections in the capital Dehradun on May 24, in which three and a half hundred people shared their views and on May 25, the UCC committee met political parties. In which the main political parties of the state Congress and Aam Aadmi Party did not participate but according to the information other parties AIIM, SP put their views before the committee.
AAP and Congress clearly say that this law should be implemented not only in Uttarakhand but in the entire state and they did not participate because their party had asked the committee to study the draft which was not Given is the allegation of the opposition that the state government is keen on the UCC law to garner votes in the Lok Sabha elections. But experts also say that if the opposition has any problem with the UCC in the state, then it should have gone before the committee and put forth its point. Let us tell you that since the formation of the UCC committee, the committee has held discussions with different sections of the society in more than 30 meetings across the state. Regarding the UCC draft, the committee says that the draft will be prepared as soon as possible. On the whole matter, BJP says that the party is in favor of implementing UCC in the state, this will give equal rights to the followers of all religions… whereas BJP says that AAP and Congress have proved that in the meeting of UCC Both the parties do politics of appeasement.
Let us tell you that after the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code law, the personal laws of all religions will end. At present there are separate religious laws for the Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Parsi communities. Hindu law also applies to followers of the Buddha, Jain and Sikh religions. These laws have to be obeyed on subjects like will and marriage. It is also being said that Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code. But what strategy will be decided by AAP and Congress regarding this law will be a matter to be seen because by not going to the UCC meeting, both the parties have made it clear that both the parties in Uttarakhand are not in support of this law. And it will be interesting to see that till when this law is applicable in Uttarakhand.
