Uttarakhand: In the meeting of VHP’s central guidance board, the saints have decided, will run a countrywide campaign against religious conversion, will oppose same-sex marriage

The issue of same-sex marriage and conversion remained at the center of discussion in the meeting of the Central Board of Directors of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Saints and office bearers have clearly said that gay marriage is not acceptable under any circumstances. Said that if the law is recognized, then the Parliament should be ready to reverse the decision. At the same time, saints from all over the country agreed in one voice to run a religious awareness campaign 15 days before Diwali regarding conversion and return home. Gay marriage, religious conversion, demographic change, land and love jihad were discussed on the first day of the meeting of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Central Board at Nishkam Seva Ashram, Kankhal on Thursday.

All prominent saints will participate in the campaign

In the meeting, the saints termed the increasing conversion cases across the country as worrying. Saints said that governments should make effective laws to stop religious conversions. It was decided that 15 days before Diwali, a campaign will be launched across the country for conversion and homecoming. All prominent saints will participate in the campaign.

Saints said about gay marriage that it is against the institution of marriage. Said that there is no place in Sanatan culture for a system that stems from such a perverted mindset. Saints said that keeping in mind the Sanatan culture, the court should give a decision on the subject related to homosexual law.

Saints expressed anger over obscenity being served on web series and social media. Emphasized on logically opposing the misconceptions being spread on social media regarding Hinduism. 350 saints and 70 Sadhvi Dharmacharyas participated in the meeting.
