PM Modi understands the inaugration of the parliament building as Coronation: Rahul Gandhi
The main opposition Congress boycotted the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. Apart from this, 20 other opposition parties also remained absent from the ceremony. At the same time, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new building of Parliament on Sunday morning. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the grand ceremony. Rahul said in a tweet that PM Modi is considering this inauguration as a ‘coronation’. The Congress leader wrote, ‘Parliament is the voice of the people! The Prime Minister is considering the inauguration of the Parliament House as a coronation. Tweets have also been made against this program from the official handle of the Congress. The opposition accused the BJP of not inviting President Draupadi Murmu. It has been called an insult to the first tribal President of India. The foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building was done by PM Modi in December 2020. It was inaugurated on Sunday.
His remarks came after PM Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building on Sunday after ‘puja’ and ‘havan’. Modi also installed the historic ‘Sengol’ near the Lok Sabha Speaker’s chair in the new building.
