Uttarakhand: Dhami government’s decision, drone schools will be opened in all the districts of the state

The Uttarakhand government is making every possible effort to continuously promote drone technology in the state. In this series, drone schools will be opened in all the districts of the state. In these schools, along with training the trainees in drone operation, new capabilities related to the use of drone technology will be developed in them. With this, the state will be able to get skilled young drone pilots and engineers. Apart from this, youth will also get employment. The use of drones is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. For this, Drone Application and Research Center (DARK) has been established in the state. The center is making arrangements for establishing drone use and research, use of state of the art drones, advancement of unmanned technology and technical training to drone operators.

Drone was also used in Char Dham Yatra last year

A lot of work is going on at this time with the help of Dark. Under this, drones are being used for disaster management in the state. Last year, drones were used in the operation of Char Dham Yatra. The results were very good. Through drones, the work of collecting blood samples and sending medicines to remote areas of the state has been successfully done.

Use of drones for surveillance in border areas

Drones are also being monitored from time to time in the border areas of the state. The use of drones has started increasing in marriages and other functions as well. At present, personnel from various departments are being trained by DARK for drone operation. In view of its increasing use, better possibilities of employment are being shown in it.

State government will open drone school in all districts

The state government has now decided to open drone schools in all the districts. These schools will be opened in Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The objective of the government is to provide training at a nominal fee by subsidizing the existing course fee. Director Information Technology Development Authority Nikita Khandelwal says that a new drone policy of the state is being formulated. All these things are included in it.
