Uttarakhand: Congress surrounded the government on the Sparsh sanitary napkin case, made serious allegations against the departmental minister

Uttarakhand Congress has made serious allegations against the government regarding Sparsh sanitary napkins. Along with this, the Congress has also accused the Women and Child Development Department of throwing dust in the eyes of the women of the state in the name of women empowerment. The Congress says that the government has forcibly imposed orders regarding sanitary napkins on the women of Anganwadi centers.

Congress state spokesperson Garima Dasauni said that women of Anganwadi centers have been forcibly ordered to sell sanitary napkins at their centers. In which it has been asked to give the profit of Rs 5 napkins to the government and keep one rupee for itself. Raising the question, he said that in order to reach the Anganwadi centers in the hilly areas, women carry cardboard cartons on their heads for 8 to 9 kilometers to deliver sanitary napkins to the Anganwadi centers, while in return the government gives them a profit of only one rupee, which is justified. Not there.

Congress state spokesperson Garima Dasauni said that last year a function was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, in which Anganwadi workers were called from every corner of the state. The honor of the Anganwadi workers in the program is a distant thing; Chief Minister and departmental minister Rekha Arya appeared on the stage wearing a silver crown. He said that it was necessary to mention the ceremony because during this ceremony, Chief Minister Dhami had publicly announced that free sanitary napkins would be distributed to the daughters of the state through Anganwadi centers, but packets of sanitary napkins under the name Sparsh were distributed to Anganwadi workers. But have been put up for sale.

Congress raised questions on quality: Not only this, Congress has also raised questions on the quality of sanitary napkins. Congress said that the quality of napkins is so bad that women and girls refused to buy them, saying that if napkins are to be bought from the government for money, then good quality napkins should be bought from the market instead. The Congress has also accused the departmental minister of giving benefits to his favourites.
