Taking a big step in the field of higher education in Uttarakhand, the Higher Education Department has started the integrated Samarth portal. In this portal of the Government of India, all the necessary information from registration to all the students of the state will be available on a single platform. The great thing is that Uttarakhand has now become the first state to do so.

Today Higher Education Minister Dhansingh Rawat launched the integrated Samarth portal. Through this portal, all the information will be available to the students pursuing higher education in the state in a single portal. Apart from this, students will also be able to register online here. The special thing is that from your subject selection to campus choice, you can also apply through this portal. With the launch of the Samarth portal, registration of students for higher education has also been started from today.

It is the endeavor of the Higher Education Department to give the benefit of simple and quick registration system to the students. Through this portal, students will be able to apply easily through mobile. Along with this, now this process can be easily and easily adopted for the students of remote hilly areas. Candidates can apply for admission in 10 colleges of their choice through registration. The Higher Education Minister said that soon the e-library system will also be implemented while providing facilities to the students. Through which students will be able to read 20 lakh books simultaneously at one place.

The Government of India aims to make more than 50% admissions in higher education by 2030, but in Uttarakhand it has been decided to fulfill this target by 2025. At present, more than 46% children in the state are taking admission in higher education after intermediate. The Higher Education Minister told that 25 model colleges are being set up in the state. Apart from this, the work of giving scholarship to such students who will top in various faculties will also be done. Efforts have been started for this.
