Industrial corridor will be built on 1000 acres of land in Uttarakhand, CM expressed gratitude to PM Modi

The Government of India has given a big gift to the state of Uttarakhand. In fact, the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor Project will be developed on about 1000 acres of land in Kichha, Uttarakhand. For which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This decision was taken in the second meeting of the apex monitoring authority of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the meeting chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman through video conferencing from the Secretariat. At the same time, the Chief Minister said that with a direct investment of about Rs 7500 crore in this project, about 20 thousand new employment opportunities will be created for the youth. Along with this, the state government is also working on the project of making this project an economic center and making it a green field city on about three thousand acres of land. However, at present, the work of satellite center of AIIMS, Kichha Degree College and bus stand has started in this area.

The Government of India has fixed a limit of Rs 9900 crore for the externally aided scheme. Due to which 11 projects operated under the externally aided scheme in the state of Uttarakhand are under threat. In fact, 11 projects worth Rs 20,236 crore are in the pipeline in the state of Uttarakhand. On this matter, CM Dhami said that for this the Prime Minister and NITI Aayog have been requested that small states like Uttarakhand should get some relaxation. Because the state of Uttarakhand is a state with odd geographical conditions, due to which there is a great need of development here.
