Uttar Pradesh / Saharanpur: Raids on 24 spa centers, caught so many young men and women, the officers were stunned, the operators absconded
Three special police teams raided the spa centers running in Saharanpur for a long time and took action. The information was not given to the local outpost in-charge and station in-charge. After this, while taking action on 24 spa centers running in Ghantaghar, Parshwanath Plaza and GNG Mall, the police arrested more than 40 young men and women.
In fact, for a long time SSP Dr. Vipin Tada was getting information that unethical work is being done in the guise of spa centers running in the metropolis. SSP asked SP City Abhimanyu Manglik to take action. SP City formed three teams on Wednesday evening. One team raided Parshwanath Plaza with SP City, the second team raided GNG Mall with CO II Jitendra Sharma and the third team raided spa centers running at Ghantaghar with Behat CO Ruchi Gupta.
SP City said that action was taken at 24 spa centers at all the three places. 10 youths and more than 30 girls have been detained from here. These include the managers of the spa centers, while the owners of the spa centers absconded from some places. The police took everyone into custody and brought them to the women’s police station located on the police line, where after questioning the girls were handed over to their families. These girls work at spa centers while the youth is in police custody.
The information about this action was not given to the local police station in-charge and outpost in-charge. SP City Abhimanyu Manglik told that the role of some policemen is also suspicious. It has been learned that the outpost in-charges were aware of the wrong doings in the spa centres. Even after this they did not take action. On the instructions of SSP Dr. Vipin Tada, an inquiry has been instituted against these policemen.
Discussion of protection of leaders
There is talk of running spa centers under the patronage of some politicians. Sources reveal that it also includes leaders of the ruling party and other parties, who used to give protection to the operators of spa centers and till now kept on protecting them from the police.

SP City Abhimanyu Manglik told that after action the matter is being investigated. On the basis of evidence, a report will be lodged against the operators, managers, owners of spa centers and the young men and women working there.
