Uttarakhand: Cabinet gave gift of higher education scholarship scheme, approved transfer of land for High Court in Goalapar
The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has concluded. In this meeting, the cabinet has approved 13 important proposals. Actually, under the chairmanship of CM Dhami, a cabinet meeting was called at the Secretariat on Wednesday. Cabinet ministers Ganesh Joshi, Premchand Aggarwal, Subodh Uniyal, Dhan Singh Rawat and Rekha Arya were present in this meeting. In this meeting, the revised rules of all the departments have been approved.
Important cabinet decisions
The rules of the Uttarakhand State Election Commission have been amended. The tenure of the State Election Commissioner has been extended by one year to 6 years. Along with this, his retirement age has also been increased by one year to 66 years. Employees will be recruited through outsourcing to pass the map. The rules for recovery under the Affiliated Authority of RERA have also been amended. The Finance Department will give information about the budget of the schemes to the districts after the budget is passed. Earlier there was a provision to give information in the month of December.
Meditation camp will be built on Kedarnath road
Along with this, 40 more villages were included in Naveen Chakrata township. Posts have been created in district tourism offices. A total of 37 posts have been increased. Four meditation camps are being set up by the Central Government on the Kedarnath route. The annual report of the Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission for 2021-22 has also been approved to be placed in the House. Along with this, amendment has been made in the Service Rules 2019 of the Revenue Department.
Approval of Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme
The Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Monthly scholarship will be given to the top three children doing graduation and post graduation. Amendment has also been made in the Uttarakhand Excellent Family Rules. The High Court will be built on 26.08 hectares of forest land at Gollapar in Haldwani. For this, the cabinet has approved the transfer of land.
Important decisions taken in the cabinet
- The fee of Rs 75 lakh has been waived for passing the map of the four meditation camps being built in Kedarnath Dham.
- Approval to place the 2021-22 Annual Accounts Report of the Electricity Department in the House.
- Approval given for amendment in the service rules of the collection Amin in the Revenue Department.
- Approval given to the Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme in the Higher Education Department.

- Mineral Avoidance Rules approved. Application fee increased. Mining lease can be given for up to 10 years. Now there will be a fee for changing the lease. E-auction process prescribed.
- Now double the royalty will be fined for illegal mining. If caught a second time, the fine will be tripled.
- Approval given for transfer of 08 hectares of land to shift the High Court to Haldwani
