The Meteorological Department went to the high altitude areas, also advised sheep and goat herders to be careful. Vikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Department, says that due to deteriorating weather in the coming days, there may be incidents of lightning along with hailstorm and rain. In such a situation, everyone needs to be alert along with the sheep herders.

He said that sheep herders who are going to graze sheep and goats in high altitude areas should avoid damage due to lightning and hailstorm. At the same time, he told that weather activity will continue in the Chardham location in the next 3 days, due to which the temperature will remain very low. In such a situation, the pilgrims should go ahead with full preparation and if needed, help should also be taken from the administration.

According to Vikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Department, due to sporadic rains, there are also chances of landslides on the Chardham routes. Due to which the road may be closed. At the same time, he has advised that when thunder storm activity is going on, then in such a situation, restraint should be exercised. The only way to avoid this is that the passengers stop at a safe place, so that no accident can happen.
