Delhi: Sahil’s police remand extended for three days, witness murder case will be revealed soon

The police remand of Sahil Khan, accused in the Sakshi murder case in Outer Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area, has been extended.

In fact, after Sahil’s remand was over, the Delhi Police presented him in the court on Thursday, from where the police custody of the accused was extended for three days.

The accused was arrested by the Delhi Police from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. After this, he was produced in the court on Tuesday, from where the court sent the accused to police custody for two days.

DCP Ravi Kumar Singh of North Outer District said that new information is continuously coming out in the case.

We produced Sahil in the Duty Magistrate Court today and his remand has been extended as we have to collect some more evidence in the investigation. So, we were given 3 days police custody.

Sahil is misleading the police
During interrogation in remand, Sahil is continuously misleading the police. He is repeatedly changing his statements. After killing the witness, he resorted to every trick to escape from the police.

Before going to Bulandshahr, Sahil went to Rithala and hid the weapon used in the murder there, then changed two buses and hid at his aunt’s house. Why did the accused carry out this brutal murder? Till now Delhi Police has not disclosed this thing.

It is noteworthy that Sahil is alleged to have killed Sakshi, a 16-year-old girl, first by stabbing her with a knife and then by crushing her head with a stone in Shahbad Dairy area.

Police is investigating the call details of Sahil’s mobile
The police have recovered the mobile of the accused and have started scanning the CDR (call detail record) and WhatsApp and Instagram chats. After getting some important information from Sahil’s mobile, the police is investigating the chats of the accused by interrogating the friends of the accused and Sakshi’s friends.

Police sweating in recovery of knife
The police are struggling to recover the knife with which the witness was brutally murdered. Even after repeated questioning, Sahil has not yet told the police where he hid the knife used in the murder. He is repeatedly trying to mislead the police. The police have gone to many places in search of the knife, but the knife has not been found yet.
