Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary Sandhu is angry! Officers reprimanded for delay in Mussoorie’s reconstruction works and disorder

Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu is very angry with the negligence and disorder in the reconstruction work being done on the Mall Road of Mussoorie. During the review meeting, Chief Secretary Dr. Sandhu expressed his displeasure in front of the officers in the secretariat. Not only this, during this, the Chief Secretary also gave instructions to take action against such officers who are handing over the reconstruction works.

Review of works of smart city

In the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu held a review meeting of the reconstruction of Mussoorie Mall Road and the works of Smart City. During this, he also reprimanded the officials for the very slow pace of the work going on for the improvement of Mussoorie Mall Road. The Chief Secretary has instructed the officers to do the construction work in the night shift as well.

Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu said that people are facing problems due to the slow pace of construction work on Mussoorie Mall Road. In such a situation, these works should be taken forward rapidly. The Chief Secretary said that action should also be taken against the officers on whose behalf laxity is being done regarding the reconstruction of the Mall Road in Mussoorie. Along with this, the Chief Secretary has also issued guidelines on the problems being faced in improving the drinking water pumping scheme in Mussoorie.

Order to repair roads before monsoon

The Chief Secretary also reviewed the works of Smart City in Dehradun and instructed to prepare all the bad roads in Dehradun completely before the monsoon. The Chief Secretary has also expressed displeasure over the existing drainage system and riding quality.
