Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary inspected Mall Road in Mussoorie, reprimanded officials for negligence, DM Sonika and MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari were also present

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu reached Mussoorie on Friday, 2 June. Here he inspected the ongoing reconstruction and beautification works on Mussoorie Mall Road. During this, the Chief Secretary also found many flaws there, after which the Chief Secretary also reprimanded the officers present on the spot. During this, Dehradun District Magistrate Sonika Singh and MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari were present along with the Chief Secretary.

During this, many social workers of Mussoorie expressed their displeasure in front of the Chief Secretary over the delay in the entire reconstruction work on the Mall Road and lack of mutual communication between the officials. He said that the tourist season of Mussoorie has started and a lot of work is yet to be done to reconstruct the Mall Road. In such a situation, if this work is not completed soon, then the tourism season of Mussoorie will be affected.

Chief Secretary SS Sandhu instructed to speed up the cobblestone work on the Mall Road and change the design of many chowks. He said that people come to visit Mall Road and the government and administration are working to make Mall Road orderly and beautiful. He instructed the officers of the Public Works Department to pay special attention to the quality of work.

Chief Secretary reprimanded the officials for negligence

He directed the District Magistrate Dehradun to personally monitor the work of reconstruction of Malrod. Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu said that all the service lines have been given a new look for the reconstruction of the Mall Road, due to which there has been a delay in the reconstruction of the Mall Road.

District Magistrate Dehradun Sonika Singh told that there are many reasons for the delay in the reconstruction work of Mall Road. Earlier there were service lines of different departments in Malrod, of which no department had any record. Which had to face a lot of difficulties regarding its reconstruction.

He told that rain has been the main reason for the delay in the reconstruction work of Mall Road. The Executive Engineer of Public Works Department will complete the work as soon as possible by staying in Mussoorie. At the same time, the assistant engineer has also been appointed. Staying in Mussoorie, the SDM is reviewing the work of reconstruction of the Mall Road and is playing an important role in creating harmony among the officers. He told that within 15 days the reconstruction work on the Mall Road will be completed and the Mall Road will be made very beautiful and will attract everyone.
