Brother and sister were playing at home in Tuntowala under Thana Patel Nagar area. Meanwhile, the dog’s leash hanging at the door got stuck in the child’s neck. The child fainted due to suffocation. Neighbors came to the house on the noise made by the sister of the unconscious child. In a hurry, the child was taken to a private hospital. But the doctor declared the child dead.

At the same time, the relatives of the child also reached the hospital. Police was informed by the hospital management. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the hospital and sent the child’s body to the government hospital for postmortem. After the postmortem, the body of the child was handed over to the relatives.

Dog leash stuck around child’s neck while playing at home

In Tuntowala, 10-year-old Karthik and his 12-year-old sister were alone at home. His relatives had gone out of the house for some work. Both the siblings were playing with the pet dog of the house. Meanwhile, while playing, the dog’s leash hanging at the door got stuck in Karthik’s neck. The strap got stuck around Karthik’s neck so tightly that he fainted due to suffocation.

Child dies after dog’s leash gets stuck in neck

Seeing the brother unconscious, the sister raised an alarm. Hearing the noise of the girl, the neighbors rushed to her house. Neighbors took the unconscious Karthik to a private hospital in a hurry. Meanwhile, Karthik’s family members were also informed. The doctor of the hospital declared Karthik dead after the test.

What did the police say

Kotwali Patel Nagar in-charge Surya Bhushan Negi told that the police was informed from the private hospital on Shimla Bye Pass Road that a child had died in the hospital. After getting the information, the police reached the hospital and inquired about the deceased child. After this, the body of the child was sent to the Coronation Hospital for postmortem. After the post-mortem, the body of the child has been handed over to his family members.
