Uttarakhand: Governor Gurmeet Singh on Almora tour, family paid obeisance at Chitai Golju temple

Governor Gurmeet Singh reached Almora on Saturday on a one-day visit. The governor along with his family paid obeisance in the court of Chitai Gwel, the famous god of justice in the cultural city of Almora. After offering prayers in the temple, Governor Gurmeet Singh wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the country and the state.
During this, Governor Gurmeet Singh said that coming to Chitai temple gives a different feeling. The wishes and prayers of the devotees who reach here are accepted. The Governor said that devotees have great faith in the Kumaon region of Manas Khand. This time he has come to Almora with a new idea. He said that a circuit of temples is being made under Manas Khand Mala. In this, special care is being taken for the facilities of the tourists. A big infrastructure is being prepared including increasing the roads. After Manas Khand Mala, a large number of tourists from abroad will come here with faith. Coming here gives a different feeling.
Governor Gurmeet Singh said that Almora will come on the world map under Manas Khand Mala. He said that Uttarakhand is Devbhoomi. This is the reason why a large number of tourists and devotees are reaching here to visit the temple in Kumaon. The Governor said that development is being done for religious tourism. In which many temples have been threaded into a garland. After paying obeisance at the temple of Golju Maharaj of Chitai, the Governor left for Jageshwar Dham. Governor Gurmeet Singh will also hold a meeting with the DM, SSP after visiting the temple and worshiping.
