Uttarakhand: Mass organizations expressed concern over the situation of tension in Purola
Various people’s organizations and opposition parties have expressed concern over the serious forest situation in Purola area of Uttarkashi. Questioning the government’s inaction regarding this development, the organizations all announced to launch a movement against the ongoing mob violence.
In the meeting held at the Uttaranchal Press Club on Monday, the speakers said that the manner in which hateful and violent propaganda is being promoted in the state on the pretext of sexual exploitation.

It is against the law and the constitution. Strict legal action must be taken regarding any crime. Irrespective of the religion or caste of the criminal, it is a rule of law.
